Local musician Patrick Mulwana, alias Alien Skin, has been charged again at the Makindye Chief Magistrates Court and sent back to Luzira prison.

He appeared in court today presided over by Chief Magistrate Esther Adikini, alongside his bodyguard Julius Mugabi, for the reading of the three new charges against Nsambya Hospital staff.

Alien Skin is also facing a separate charge of robbery for allegedly stealing a phone worth 3.5 million shillings and 480,000 shillings from Salim Mubiru.
Both Alien Skin and Mugabi denied the assault charges.

The court heard that Mugabi, Alien Skin, and others at large allegedly caused grievous harm to doctors Zaidi Matovu, Alex Odongo, and Anthony Munyanda at St. Francis Nsambya Hospital on November 19, 2024.

Alien Skin applied for bail, presenting three sureties, including his mother, Nanyanzi Juliet. However, state prosecutors objected, citing concerns that Alien Skin might interfere with the arrest of 18 others still at large, as investigations are ongoing.

The trouble began when Alien Skin and his crew rushed their colleague, Joram Tumwesigye, to Nsambya hospital after a car accident, only to allegedly be neglected by doctors, sparking chaos. Chief Magistrate Adikini has remanded the duo until Thursday for a bail ruling.
