PostBank expands board, taps Martin Mugisha for operations director role

Veteran banker Martin Mugisha joins PostBank’s board as Executive Director Operations, bringing 20+ years of experience to accelerate growth and foster prosperity.

KAMPALA, Uganda — PostBank Uganda announced Monday the appointment of Martin Mugisha as its new Executive Director of Operations, increasing the number of executive directors on its board due to recent growth.

Mugisha, formerly the bank’s chief credit officer, brings more than two decades of banking experience from both local and regional institutions in Uganda to the role.

CEO Julius Kakeeto added that Mugisha’s “extensive experience in business origination and risk management positions him to steer critical areas of the bank as we accelerate PostBank’s growth ambitions and its purpose of fostering prosperity.”
