MAKERERE– Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga of Christian Life Church Makerere – Kavule , is among the pastors who organized cross over prayers which ushered people in the new year 2024.

During these prayers which attracted thousand of people at the Makerere Kavule based church, Ssenyonga tipped the gathering that to succeed in the new year , they have to work hard but with trust in the Almighty God.
“Forgiveness is the cornerstone of our faith,” Pastor Ssenyonga asserted, his voice resonating with conviction. “As we embark on this new journey, let us shed the shackles of resentment and embrace the liberating power of forgiveness. It is through forgiveness that we authentically reflect the grace and love of our Lord.”
Ssenyonga also emphasized that forgiveness is key in the life of a born again Christian especially during this era when beleivers appears to have drawn lines (divided) as a result of unforgiveness.
During his teaching, the lead pastor also expressee the need to have all Christians double their efforts when it comes to preaching the Gospel alongside other messages of hope to various parts of the country in this new year (2024).
“Amidst life’s distractions and the cacophony of worldly distractions, let us recenter our focus on sharing the life-altering power of the gospel. It serves as the beacon illuminating darkness and offering solace to the downtrodden.”
The Cross over prayers which were held amidst tight security from Uganda Police and its sister agencies, attracted preachers from all over Uganda and over seas, it attracted people from all over Uganda and these received anointing from Pastor Ssenyonga and presented their prayer requests for the year 2024 before the Lord.
