Namugongo– The presiding Bishop for the Evangelical Orthodox Church in Uganda Jacinto Kibuuka has declared 2024 as a year in which God has granted permission for all Christian believers to rise and shine in whatever they do.
Bishop Kibuuka made the prophecy during the Cross Overnight Night healing and deliverance prayers attended by a mammoth of congregates at Mamre International Prayer Centre in Janda, Namugongo, Wakiso district.
He said that in their New Year’s theme of Permission granted rooted in Nehemiah 2:1-20, every person is called upon to rise and shine with a lot of hope and faith in the Lord that they will make it.
“2024 is a year of prosperity, blessings, anointing and hard work of course notwithstanding the several challenges but we shall make it.” Said Bishop Kibuuka
“Of course there several challenges from European and other countries that are challenging the culture, system and the laws of the country, however, we still believe that none of them is above God. If God is on the throne we shall still survive and struggle for better future and Uganda.” Said Bishop Kibuuka
Bishop Kibuuka also lashed at western country that are challenging Uganda’s culture and laws with the aim of oppressing and pushing government to the wall to legalize immoral acts like homosexuality.
