COVID-19 CRISIS: Busitma University extends deadline for admissions

Busitema University has extended the deadlines for application for admission till May 30 due to COVID-19, according registrar Lilian Nabaasa Gimuguni has said.

“This is to inform the general public that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the deadline for applications to all Busitema University Academic Programmes for 2020/2021 Academic Year has been extended to 30th May 2020,” Ms. Nabaasa wrote in a public notice dated April 25, 2020.

Eligibility

  • Degree Programmes General Requirements
  1. Interested applicants should have: Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least five (5) passes.
  2. Should also have: Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least two (2) principal passes in prescribed subjects obtained at the same sitting. Only candidates who sat A’

Level in 2019, 2018 and 2017 are eligible to apply EXCEPT for those who wish to apply for BBW – Bachelor of Business Administration (Weekend) which is open for all years.

  • Diploma Programmes:-General Requirements
  1. Interested applicants should have: Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least five (5) passes. (Candidates who obtained results 7, 9, X, Y and Z at ‘O’ level need not apply)
  2. Should also have: Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least one (1) principal pass in prescribed subjects and two (2) subsidiaries obtained at the same sitting. Only candidates who sat A’ Level in 2019, 2018 and 2017 are eligible to apply.
