Makerere University Announces Special Entry Examinations for Diploma in Performing Arts

KAMPALA, UGANDA – Makerere University has announced special university entry examinations for admission to the Diploma in Performing Arts program for the 2024/25 academic year. The examinations are scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

According to the Academic Registrar, Prof. Mukadasi Buyinza, the application process is online for all applicants, and the deadline for receiving applications is Thursday, May 16, 2024.

To be eligible to sit for the examinations, candidates must possess an O’Level certificate (UCE) with at least 5 passes. The application fee is Shs. 110,000/- (excluding bank charges) for Ugandans and East African applicants, or US $75 or equivalent for international applicants. The fee includes two past papers, which will be availed to candidates on completion of the online process.
